Helena ,MT : Two women, 1 man killed in Montana head-on crash on Wednesday morning ,July 16th 2015
The Montana Highway Patrol says two sisters were among three people killed in a head-on crash between two pickups in west-central Montana.
The patrol says a 29-year-old woman from Red Mesa, Arizona and her 28-year-old sister from Montezuma Creek, Utah, died in the crash Wednesday morning on U.S. Highway 287 north of Wolf Creek. A man in his 20s from Arizona also died. Three others - a 31-year-old man from Red Mesa, Arizona; a 12-year-old boy and a 29-year-old man from Louisville, Kentucky - were injured. The Independent Record reports the boy has been released from the hospital.
A 69-year-old man from Helena and a 66-year-old man from East Helena - who were in a pickup hauling a load of hay bales - also were injured.
A witness said the pickup with six occupants was traveling on the wrong side of the road when the vehicles collided.
