Goshen, IN : Multiple injuries in Goshen collision Monday on April, Monday 10th 2017

Multiple vehicles were involved in a injury collision that closed U.S. 33 in both directions Monday afternoon for over an hour.

According to Goshen Police Department spokeswoman Tina Kingsbury, six vehicles were involved, leading to the injuries of multiple people.

“Officers are still on scene and at the hospital collecting information and statements,” she said around 6 p.m.

The extent of the victim’s injuries weren’t immediately available.

The collision occurred between Aegis Dental Group and Buffalo Wild Wings. Southbound traffic was diverted at Rieth Boulevard, and northbound traffic was diverted prior to the C.R. 17 overpass while crews worked to clean-up the scene.

At least two passenger cars were involved, along with a delivery truck.

Police officers assisted the Goshen Fire Department and Indiana State Police at the scene.
