MADISON COUNTY, AL : Cyclist killed in U.S. 231/431 hit and run on Saturday, 2nd March 2024

State troopers are now saying that a deadly crash that killed a bicyclist in Meridianville was a hit and run.

It happened around 2:20 a.m Saturday morning. Troopers say 38 year old Willard Mann of Hazel Green was on Highway 231/431 near Patterson Lane when he was hit by a white Ford Taurus. Mann was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ford Taurus left the scene. Troopers do not know who the driver was at this time.
