A 4-year-old girl was hit by a car Wednesday night in Homeland Park.
The incident happened near the intersection of South Main Street Extension and Zebulon Drive shortly after 8:30 p.m.
Greg Shore, CEO of Medshore Ambulance Service, said the child had minor injuries and was taken to AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson for an evaluation. The girl's identity was not made public.
Lance Cpl. David Jones of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the collision remains under investigation. No charges had been filed as of Wednesday night.
"We believe the car was traveling at a very slow speed," Jones said. "There are no major, life-threatening injuries."
