One person is dead after a vehicle hit a semi-truck on I-15 in the Las Vegas area.
that the Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a crash around 1:50 a.m. Sunday.
NHP spokeswoman Chelsea Stuenkel says a Cadillac rear-ended the moving semi.
The resulting impact led the driver of the Cadillac suffering fatal injuries.
Stuenkel says the semi-truck driver was not hurt.
The crash shut down southbound lanes of I-15 for several hours.
