An Eden, Maryland man has died following a serious crash in Millsboro.

According to the Delaware State Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:16 p.m. Sunday, as a 48-year-old Laurel woman was traveling southbound in a 2011 Nissan Murano on Millsboro Highway approaching the intersection of Nine Foot Road with the intention of turning left.

A 2003 BMW Z4 convertible, operated by a 66-year-old Eden, Maryland man, was headed northbound on Millsboro Highway approaching the same vicinity when, for unknown reasons, the Nissan failed to see the BMW and turned left directly in front of it.
