Moorpark, CA : One taken to hospital after car goes off road and crashes into ditch in Moorpark on Saturday, August 23, 2014

One person was taken to a hospital after a car went off the roadway and into a ditch Saturday in Moorpark, officials said. The crash was reported about 4 p.m. at the transition road near westbound Highway 118 and southbound Highway 23. Crews on the scene reported the car fell about 40 feet. About 4:22 p.m., one person was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks.
