Indiana,PA : 21-year-old man dead after car, coal truck collide in Indiana County on January, Friday 5th 2018

One person is dead after a car and a coal truck collided Friday morning in Indiana County.

The accident was reported on State Route 56 in East Wheatfield Township at approximately 8:41 a.m.

The victim has been identified as Ryan Decker, 21, of Armagh. Police said he was wearing his seatbelt.

The driver of the coal truck was not injured.

According to police, the crash occurred after the coal truck drove into the opposite lane while negotiating a curve in the road.

The road reopened Friday afternoon after being closed for several hours.

Police are continuing to investigate.
