MARANA, AZ : 3 dead following crash involving Border Patrol near Marana on Saturday, 7th August 2021

Three people have died after a crash on the I-10 near the town of Marana, about 22 miles north of Tucson, Saturday evening that involved the U.S. Border Patrol.

Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) says the crash happened right before 8 p.m. and involved two cars. They say three people died and a number of people were taken to the hospital.

DPS took over the investigation of the collision and it is ongoing. Arizona's Family reached out to the U.S. Border Patrol for more information about what happened prior to the crash.
