North Hills, CA : Man, woman seriously injured after 405 Freeway crash in North Hills on Sunday, November 27, 2016
A man and woman were taken to local trauma centers Sunday after their vehicle hit a concrete rail on the 405 Freeway in North Hills and they were ejected, Los Angeles fire officials said.
The collision took place just before noon on the northbound 405 Freeway at Rinaldi Street in North Hills, the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a statement. The man and woman were taken to the trauma centers in serious to critical condition, officials said.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident involved at least two vehicles, an Audi and an Acura. One of the vehicles involved was reportedly “swerving all over the roadway,” officials said.
The carpool lane as well as lane 1 and 2 were blocked for a time following the collision, according to CHP officials.
