LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA : One dead in Livingston Parish car crash on Thursday, 21st March 2024

The Louisiana State Police are investigating after a person was killed in a car crash Thursday afternoon in Livingston Parish.

Troopers were called shortly before 2 p.m. on Louisiana 1019 near Amite Church Road. Police identified the victim as Alex Robeau Jr., 74, of Denham Springs.

According to LSP, Robeau was heading north on Louisiana 1019 in a 2014 Chevy Silverado. Robeau “failed to negotiate a right hand curve.” Robeau’s car exited the roadway and hit two trees.
