Norfolk, VA : 3 medevaced after crash in Southampton County on Monday, November 21st, 2016

Three people were medevaced to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center Monday after a crash at the intersection of Southampton Parkway and Drewry Road.

A Sheriff's Office news release states around 7:45 a.m., deputies were notified of the vehicle crash. It was found that a red Ford pulled out from Drewry Road to cross Southampton Parkway in front of oncoming westbound traffic.

A tractor trailer was unable to avoid hitting the Ford. A driver and two juveniles were injured and medevaced to Richmond for treatment.

The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
