Ithaca, NY : Fatal accident in Ulysses on Wednesday, 9th November 2016

On Wednesday November 9, at about 11:23 p.m., the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office responded to Podunk Road in Town of Ulysses for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival at the scene deputies located a blue 2006 Subaru in a wooded area along the east side of Podunk Road south of Swamp College Road.
Further investigation by deputies determine that the vehicle operated by Tamila Rae Creedon, 25, of Lodi, was traveling north on Podunk Road when the vehicle left the roadway struck several trees and came to rest where it was located by deputies.
Creedon was pronounced dead at the scene. Creedon was lone occupant in the vehicle. The investigation into the cause of the motor vehicle accident is continued by the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit.
Assisting at the scene was the New York State Park Police, Trumansburg Police Department, Trumansburg Volunteer Fire Department and Bangs Ambulance.
