DOVER TWP, MI : Motorcyclist dies after Lenawee Co. crash on Sunday, 2nd June 2024

A motorcyclist from Newport, Mich. has died after a Sunday afternoon crash at the intersection of West Carleton Road and Benner Highway.

According to the Lenawee Co. Sheriff’s Office, Joseph Lee Webb, 54, of and his passenger were traveling east on Carleton when the accident occurred.

An 87-year-old Clayton woman was traveling west around 4:30 p.m., and tried to turn south onto Benner in front of the motorcycle, which crashed into the Corolla.

Both Webb and his 50-year-old female passenger were flown to the hospital in Jackson with life-threatening injuries. It was announced Webb had died Monday morning.
