Emporia, KS : Injury accident reported Saturday evening on Saturday, November 12th 2016

Lyon County Deputies and Lyon County-Emporia Emergency Medical responded to a single vehicle accident in the 1200 block of Road 210 around 10:22 p.m. Saturday.

According to Deputy Chuck Moore, a white 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by Allen Pate of Emporia, was traveling eastbound on Road 210 when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree, rolling it on its top.

Allen was transported to Newman Regional Hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
