Monticello,VT : Driver seriously injured in Surry crash, charges forthcoming on July, Sunday 2nd 2017

A Vermont man is in critical condition after a car crash on Route 12 in Surry early Sunday morning, police said.

The 27-year-old driver was taken to Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene and then flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, according to a news release this morning from N.H. State Police.


The man's name has not yet been released, pending notification of his next of kin, police said.

Police said speed and alcohol are factors in the crash and that charges including aggravated driving while intoxicated are forthcoming.
