Jamestown, ND : Three injured in Towner County crash on February, Monday 26th 2018
Three people were injured in a two-car crash Monday in Towner County, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 8:25 a.m. on U.S. Highway 218 about 5 miles south of Rock Lake, N.D. A southbound 2016 Ford F150 lost control on an icy road surface and struck a northbound 1995 Chevrolet 1/2-ton pick-up, sending both vehicles into the ditch, the patrol said.
The driver of the Ford, Connie Odegaard, 56, Perth, N.D., was wearing a seat belt and an airbag was deployed. Her passenger, Brexton Bjornstead, 2, Langdon, N.D., was in a car seat and an airbag was deployed.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Gerald Berg, 76, Hansboro, N.D., was wearing a seat belt and an airbag was deployed.
The three individuals involved in the crash were transported by Towner County Ambulance Service to Towner County Medical Center in Cando, N.D., for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
