WASHINGTON COUNTY OR : Highway 6 closes after tanker truck crash on Saturday, 2nd March 2024

Washington County Sheriff’s Office said Wilson River Highway was closed both ways after milepost 42 on Saturday morning.

Deputies said a tree fell across the road and a tanker truck hit it. Deputies said the truck leaked fuel as a result of the crash.

No one is seriously hurt. Deputies said power is out in the area, so drivers can expect extended delays while crews work to clean up the scene.
