Paducah, KY : A two-vehicle wreck an SUV on Monday, July 17, 2017

A two-vehicle wreck involving an SUV and a motor scooter sent one person to a hospital Monday.

McCracken County deputies reported Tammy Onan, of West Paducah, was driving a 2008 Jeep SUV on Mayfield-Metropolis Road. Deputies said Onan was attempting to cross U.S. 60 West when she pulled into the path of a 2005 Yamaha motor scooter, driven by Daniel Hicks, of La Center, that was westbound on U.S. 60.

The two vehicles collided, ejecting Hicks from the scooter. He was not wearing a helmet.

Hicks was taken to Lourdes hospital for treatment. Deputies said he was also cited for driving on a suspended license.

Onan was not injured.
