A Easton man suffered a leg injury Tuesday evening after crashing a car into a detached garage along Route 611 in Williams Township, Pennsylvania State Police at Belfast report.
Jacob R. Neve, 21, will be cited with driving at an unsafe speed after the crash at 7:28 where he lost control of a 2006 Pontiac G6 on a right curve while going south, police said. The vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and then hit the garage at 610 S. Delaware Drive, police said.
Wires from a utility pole came down and the road was shut, police said. Met-Ed was able to cut the wires at the electrical box on the garage, police said.
While Neve injured his leg, he declined treatment at the scene, police said. He was wearing a seat belt, ploice said.
The Williams Township Fire Department assisted at the scene, police said.
