Fremont County, IA : Oklahoma woman arrested following a one-vehicle crash southeast of Sidney on Sunday, May 22, 2016
A 26-year-old Edmond, Oklahoma, woman was arrested and a 32-year-old Oklahoma City man was ticketed Sunday in connection with a one-vehicle crash southeast of Sidney.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy was dispatched around 12:55 p.m. to the accident scene at 250th Street and 350th Avenue. The deputy reported that someone had picked up the two people involved in the crash and left the scene.
Later, the sheriff’s office said it was told that the two Oklahomans were at a Fremont County residence, and, when the deputy arrive, it was determined that Era Whisper Robbins was wanted on drug-trafficking charges in Oklahoma. The sheriff’s office said she was arrested and taken to the Fremont County Jail, where she was being held without bail while awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.
Alexander Sharp, who was driving the vehicle, was ticketed on suspicion of driving without a valid license and having defective brakes. He was later taken to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
