WAHPETON, ND : Trooper IDs victims of fatal Wahpeton rollover on Saturday, December, 16th 2017

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the man and woman who died at the scene of a rollover crash south of Wahpeton Saturday, Dec. 16.

Sgt. Tom Herzig reports the victims of the fatal rollover were Jessica Denetz, 35, of Mantador, N.D., and Jeremy Denetz, 37, of Doran, Minn. Herzig said the couple was ejected from the vehicle and it’s unknown who was driving.

The crash occurred around 9 p.m., four miles south of Wahpeton on 182nd Ave. SE, a gravel county road. A 2008 Chevrolet pickup drifted across the northbound lane and the driver lost control of the truck, which then entered the east ditch and rolled before coming to rest on its right side, Herzig said.
