Bismarck, ND : 22-year-old man died in crash on U.S. Highway 83 north of Bismarck on Friday afternoon, Oct 30, 2015

Authorities have identified a 22-year-old man who was killed when the pickup truck he was driving ran into a highway median and overturned.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says William Pace of Bismarck was headed north on U.S. Highway 83 about 10 miles north of Bismarck on Friday afternoon when the truck ran off the roadway and into the median. Highway Patrol says Pace tried to steer the truck back onto the road but the vehicle hit a crossover and overturned.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that Pace wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

A 3-year-old passenger who was in a car seat was uninjured.
