Bluefield, W.V : Two injured in crash on U.S. Route 460 in Mercer County on Tuesday evening, April 4, 2017

Two people were transported to the hospital Tuesday evening following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 460 at the intersection of Country Girl Road and Blue Prince Road in Mercer County.

According to Trooper B.R. Wood of the West Virginia State Police Princeton Detachment, the drivers of both vehicles were transported to Princeton Community Hospital.

The Green Valley-Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department and the Princeton Rescue Squad both responded to the crash.

Both drivers were alone in their vehicles, Wood said.

Their identities and conditions were not immediately known.
