Kennewick, WA : Pickup driver injured in Highway 395 crash on Thursday evening, March 10, 2016
The driver of a pickup who failed to stop at an intersection on Highway 395 slammed into another car and sent its driver to the hospital Thursday evening, the Washington State Patrol said.
Troy L. McClellan, 46, of Goldendale, was driving a Toyota pickup south on Highway 395 just before 5 p.m. when he failed to stop at the signal at 27th Avenue, the state patrol said.
The pick up struck a 2010 Dodge Nitro driven by Imelda Garcia, 52, of Kennewick. Garcia was driving east on 27th Avenue. She was taken to Trios Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Both cars were totaled. McClellan was cited for second-degree negligent driving for failing to stop at the signal, the state patrol said.
