Blue Springs, MO : Tractor trailer driver dies after crashing off I-70 on Monday, March 20, 2017

A tractor trailer driver from Pennsylvania died late Monday when his vehicle overturned off Interstate 70 in Blue Springs.

The single-vehicle crash happened about 10:35 p.m., between Adams Dairy Parkway and Buckner-Tarsney Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Gerard Holterback, 51, was driving a 2009 Peterbilt tractor trailer eastbound on I-70 when his vehicle ran off the right side of the highway and overturned. Holterback, who was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
