A bicyclist died after a collision with a car in Rockledge Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.Troopers said the crash happened around 2 p.m. on US-1 at Ansin Road.

The biker, who has not been identified, tried to move from the right shoulder into the left lane and went right in front of a Nissan sedan, the FHP said.

The biker was pronounced dead at the scene.

The FHP is conducting an investigation.
