Lake Oswego, OR :Two men seriously injured in vehicle crash in on Thursday December 24 2015
Two men were stuck in their cars Thursday after a crash on Oregon 18 near Otis. Both were removed by emergency crews and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Richard L. Loy Jr., 34 of Lake Oswego, was driving his 1998 Nissan Maxima west on Oregon 18 at 6 p.m. when he crossed the centerline, according to Oregon State Police. His car hit a 1993 Dodge Dakota being driven by Bobby Kress, 59, of Otis.
Police said they don't know whether either man was wearing a seat belt.
Loy and Kress were pulled from their cars and taken to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital in Lincoln City. They were transferred to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, where they were listed Thursday night in critical condition.
