CHARLESTON, SC : Troopers investigating collision involving CPD cruiser on Friday, 26th April 2024

A Charleston Police car was involved in a collision Friday evening.
Shortly before 7 p.m., a Charleston PD cruiser and a truck collided in downtown Charleston. The collision occurred near the intersection of Meeting Street and Huger Street by Strayer University.
The officer was treated at the scene and released by EMS, according to Sgt. Chris Stinson with CPD. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
