Las Vegas, NV : Woman killed, nine injured in van rollover crash on the 215 Beltway-Interstate 15 on Sunday night, February 22, 2015

A rollover accident on a Las Vegas interstate left one dead and nine injured on Sunday night, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

At about 9:10 p.m. a white Ford Econoline van with 10 occupants was on the 215 Beltway-Interstate 15 interchange ramp approaching the 215 when the driver lost control. The van, which police say was traveling too fast for the wet conditions, spun and left the south roadway edge, traveled up a concrete embankment and overturned, NHP said in a statement.

Passenger Sheila Williams, 48, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead on scene by a Clark County Coroner investigator.

The other occupants were transported to University Medical Center in unknown condition.
