A driver was killed in a crash on Route 24 in West Bridgewater early Wednesday morning.
A box truck was slowly pulling out of the breakdown lane on the southbound side into traffic around 2:20 a.m. when it was hit from behind by a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz.
The car ended up wedged under truck, trapping the driver, 46-year-old Dwayne Williams of Taunton. He died at the scene. The box truck driver, a 71-year-old man from Whitman, had a minor injury, according to State Police.No charges have been filed at this point in the investigation.
