Woodinville, WA : One person died in two-vehicle crash near Duvall on Wednesday October 5 2016

At least one person died Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash near Duvall, officials said.

No further details on the deceased, such as age, were immediately available.

Woodinville Fire Department tweeted just after 8:15 p.m. that the crash occurred on Northeast Woodinville Duvall Road, just west of West Snoqualmie Valley Road Northeast.

Shortly after 9 p.m., the King County Sheriff’s Office said a stretch of Woodinville Duvall Road would be closed for hours.

The office also said one man was in each vehicle, one of which appeared to have gone into an oncoming lane. No details on what led to the crash were immediately available.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will formally identity the deceased.
