Madisonville,KY : I-69 collision injures 8 on January, Sunday 28th 2018

Eight people were injured this week in a two-vehicle accident along Interstate 69 near northern Madisonville.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Earlington resident Michelle Vannoy was traveling southbound at around 7:43 p.m. Sunday when her 2000 Ford Taurus suddenly stalled near the 117 mile marker. Melissa Hatfield, 34, of Evansville was driving her 2012 Nissan Altima southbound at the same time and failed to see the idle vehicle blocking her path. The two vehicles collided in the southbound lanes.
