Tarkington Prairie, TX : 65-year-old man killed in tractor accident on Sunday, November 2, 2014

Authorities say a 65-year-old southeast Texas man has died after accidentally driving his tractor over a pipe that flew into the air and hit him in the head. A LIBERTY County sheriff spokesman says Charles Lippold died Sunday in a field near his home in Tarkington Prairie. He says Lippold was using the tractor to haul a hay bale when he reversed over a feeding ring made from aluminum pipe. A piece of the pipe fatally struck him.
