TOMBALL, TX : Deadly crash involving 18-wheeler closes northbound lanes of FM 2978 at Hufsmith Road on Thursday, 14th December 2023

A deadly crash closed all northbound lanes of FM 2978 at Hufsmith Road Thursday morning.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the crash involved an 18-wheeler and another vehicle. One person was killed in the other vehicle, and three others were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Commuters should avoid the area.

It’s unknown how long the road will be closed.
