Wadena, MN : Man injured in one-vehicle accident on Hwy 29 on Sunday,15th April 2018

A man reaching for a dropped cell phone crashed on Highway 29 Sunday afternoon.

The man, identified as Jonathan Beau Haase, 34, Williston, N.D., was driving southbound on Highway 29 in the area of 260th St. when he reached for his cell phone on the floor of his vehicle. The vehicle crossed over the northbound lane down into the east ditch hitting an approach causing the vehicle to launch into the air. The vehicle struck a tree before coming to rest. Haase was transported to Tri County Medical with non life threatening injuries.
