EDWARDSBURG, MI : An Elkhart woman was injured after a car pulled on Tuesday, June 20, 2017

An Elkhart woman was injured after a car pulled out in front of her motorcycle, causing her to lose control and crash.

Christine Zupsich, 49, was riding north on Dailey Road around 5 p.m. when an unidentified vehicle pulled out in front of her at Pine Lake Street about three miles north of Edwardsburg, Michigan. She swerved to miss the vehicle and lost control of the motorcycle.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department in Michigan said Zupsich was transported by LifeCare Ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment of unknown injuries. She was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Police were not able to locate the other vehicle in the crash.
