San Ysidro, NM : Two dead in fatal crash on US 550 south of San Ysidro on Thursday, December 18, 2014

Two people were killed in a crash on U.S. 550 just south of San Ysidro just after 7 p.m. Thursday, according to the Sandoval County Sheriff's Office. New Mexico State Police are now handling the investigation and say the highway will be closed until at least 5 a.m. Friday, but people at the crash scene said they were temporarily opening up one lane to let some vehicles through that were stuck in traffic.
