Sterling Heights ,MI : 47-year-old woman killed and another injured after Crash on Monday night, August 31st 2015

A 22-year-old Sterling Heights man is under arrest for allegedly hitting and killing a 47-year-old woman who was pushing her teenage son in a wheelchair.

Police had been looking for the driver of a red Cadillac after it hit the woman Monday night near the corner of 14 Mile and Ryan roads. The 15-year-old son was not seriously hurt.

Police said Tuesday morning they found the Cadillac in Highland Park, and that drugs could have been a factor in the hit-and-run.
