State Police investigating rollover crash in Bedford Virginia

Virginia State Police are investigating a rollover crash in Bedford County that sent one woman to the hospital.

It happened at around 6:00pm Saturday night along Route 460, just east of Route 684.Investigators say 65-year-old Frances Lynch, from Blue Ridge, was driving eastbound when a vehicle suddenly changed lanes in front of her, causing her to go off the right side of the road. They say she then overcorrected, went across both eastbound lanes, and into the median causing her Chevrolet Blazer to flip several times.

Both westbound lanes of Route 460 were closed for about an hour and a half while crews cleared the scene.

Lynch was rushed to Bedford Memorial Hospital. Her current condition is unknown at this time.
