Newton County, TX : Beaumont woman died in a single-vehicle car crash in Newton County on Saturday,June 20, 2015

A Beaumont woman was killed in a single-vehicle car crash Saturday after her Jeep Wrangler flipped and rolled over several times while traveling in Newton County.

Danielle Christine Culpepper, 19, was driving on RE 255 when she veered off the roadway for an unknown reason, said Trooper Stephanie Davis with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Davis said Culpepper "overcorrected" as she attempted to get back on the road, causing the 2012 Jeep Wrangler to rollover multiple times.

Culpepper was taken to Christus Hospital in Jasper with severe head injuries. She was pronounced dead at 3:12 p.m.
