PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL : Panama City man killed in Thomas Drive crash on Saturday, 29th September 2018

A Panama City man was struck and killed Saturday night while attempting to cross Thomas Drive around 7:25 p.m. according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Tracey Wayne McDaniel, 56, was pronounced dead on scene. According to FHP, he were crossing west across Thomas Drive when he crossed into the path of a Ford Explorer driven by Kathie Ann Reissig, 33, of Panama City. The front right of the Explorer collided with McDaniel, who came to a final rest in the middle of the southbound lanes of Thomas Drive.

Alcohol is not a factor in the wreck. Charges are pending.
