West Plains, MO : New Mexico man died in a one-car crash on U.S. 63 in Howell County on Sunday afternoon, March 27, 2016

A woman from New Mexico died in a one-car crash on Sunday afternoon in Howell County. It happened on U.S. 63 just south of West Plains.

Mary Lydon was a passenger in the SUV when it went off the road and overturned. She was airlifted to a hospital but doctors could not save her.

Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol say both the driver and passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
