Smyrna, DE : A serious two-vehicle crash on DuPont Parkway (U.S. 13) in the area of Duck Creek Road on Wednesday, 1st January, 2020

A serious two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer closed all lanes on DuPont Parkway (U.S. 13) in the area of Duck Creek Road in Smyrna Wednesday afternoon.

Delaware State Police responded to the scene around 3:48 p.m. and said the closure is expected to be lengthy.

Injuries are unknown at this time.

Police warn motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.
