Lynchburg, VA : Motorcyclist injured in two-vehicle wreck on Wednesday, August 9, 2017

A motorcyclist was transported to the Lynchburg General Emergency Department after a wreck Wednesday in downtown Lynchburg left him with potentially life-threatening injuries, according to a Lynchburg Police Department news release.

The crash occurred between a Yamaha motorcycle and a Honda Odyssey van at the intersection of Main and Walnut streets at about 4:30 p.m. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike, resulting in his injuries, the release states.
