Grand Junction, CO : Two die in motorcycle accident on Wednesday, March 22nd 2017
Two Rifle men driving two separate motorcycles died after a collision with a Ford Explorer in Silt on Monday.
The men, Nathan Russo, 22, and Eduardo Medrano, 21, were killed in the collision just after 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of the town’s Main Street or U.S. Highway 6 and First Street.
Both men died of blunt force injuries and their manner of death is being considered an accident, according to Garfield County Coroner Robert Glassmire. Neither drugs or alcohol are being considered a factor in the crash.
Neither motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, according to the Silt Police Department.
Silt officers are investigating the crash, the department said.
