ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC : Pedestrian killed following wreck in Orangeburg County on Wednesday, November 23rd 2016

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Orangeburg County.

Troopers say on Wednesday, November 23 at 6 p.m., the driver of a 2013 Dodge Avenger was traveling west on SC 210, near Bowman, when the car struck a pedestrian in the road. The avenger then went off the right shoulder and into a field.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. We are working to learn the identity of the victim from the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
