Hamilton County, FL : White Springs man dies in pickup crash on U.S. 41 in Hamilton County on Sunday morning, October 19, 2014

A 45-year-old White Springs man was killed Sunday morning when the pickup truck he was driving ran off U.S. 41 in Hamilton County and struck a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said John Leroy Morris was driving a 2011 Nissan pickup southbound on Highway 41 just north of Southeast 160th Court in Hamilton County at about 10 a.m. Sunday when the pickup exited the highway onto the east shoulder, struck a mailbox, traveled through a ditch and across railroad tracks and finally struck a tree. FHP said the investigation into the crash was continuing. Hamilton County Fire Rescue declared Morris dead at the scene of the crash, troopers said. Source : White Springs man dies in pickup crash
