Bountiful, UT : Woman killed, another one injured in I-15 crash on Tuesday morning, February 10, 2015

A female passenger in a car traveling on I-15 was killed and the driver was injured in an accident that happened on northbound I-15 on Tuesday morning about 3 a.m. Authorities are investigating if alcohol was involved in the crash.

The victim was identified as Sarah O’Connor-Green, 27, of Sandy. She was with driver Misty Davis, 39, also of Sandy, in a northbound lane in the construction zone, according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce, who reported Davis’ Chevrolet Impala lost control on a curve, careened into the median and through construction barrels before hitting a construction truck.

Davis, who had her seatbelt fastened, suffered only minor injuries. O’Connor-Green reportedly was not buckled up.

Construction workers in the truck had exited the truck moments before the crash and were not injured.

The car was pushed into a second truck in the area.
