BALDWIN COUNTY, FL : Bay Minette man killed in early morning crash with tractor-trailer on Monday, 18th September 2023

A Bay Minette man is dead after crashing into the back of a tractor-trailer early Monday morning.

34-year-old Chase Sharp, of Bay Minette, was killed after the SUV he was driving struck the rear of a tractor-trailer on I-65 at around 6 a.m., according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

Sharp was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to ALEA. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

ALEA says the tractor trailer was disabled and partially in the roadway at the time of the crash.
